NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top computer companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Apple Inc. rose $8.52 or 1.5 percent, to $592.52.

Dell Inc. fell $.13 or 1.0 percent, to $12.39.

Hewlett Packard Co. rose $.05 or .2 percent, to $20.16.

International Business Machines Corp. rose $.25 or .1 percent, to $195.83.

Lexmark International Inc. fell $.10 or .4 percent, to $26.48.
