AMC turns to shows' fans as Dish dispute continues

June 25, 2012

DENVER (AP) — AMC is buying ads on dozens of buses in Denver and Washington to try to get fans of its TV show "Breaking Bad" on its side in a dispute with Dish Network.

AMC's various networks could disappear from Dish Network's channel lineups July 1 if a contract with Dish Network isn't renewed. That could mean Dish subscribers could miss the July 15 season premiere of "Breaking Bad."

Dish is based in Englewood, Colo.
