Carnival rose $.46 or 1.4 percent, to $33.18.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. fell $.08 or .2 percent, to $44.90.

MGM Resorts International fell $.03 or .3 percent, to $11.01.

Marriott International Inc. rose $.33 or .9 percent, to $37.19.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. rose $.22 or .9 percent, to $23.70.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. rose $.36 or .7 percent, to $50.58.

Wynn Resorts rose $.22 or .2 percent, to $99.75.
