FILMS Kirch has been a backer of The Truman Show, Godzilla, Armageddon, and others. RIGHTS Its library includes 85,000 hours of television programs and movies, including Baywatch and Lawrence of Arabia. PAY TV Through its KirchPayTV unit, owns Premiere World, whose 2.2 million subscribers in Germany get commercial-free events and specialized programming. PUBLISHING KirchBeteiligungs owns a 41% stake in Axel Springer Verlag, publisher of mass-circulation tabloid Bild Zeitung.
