Received executive diploma from Harvard Business School. CAREER Worked in Mexican division of Coca-Cola Co. from 1964 to 1979, rising from salesman to president for Mexico and Central America. Later ran family's boot-manufacturing and vegetable-exporting companies. A latecomer to politics, Fox landed a seat in the Chamber of Deputies in 1988. Ran unsuccessfully for governor of his home state of Guanajuato in 1991 in an election marred by fraud. Triumphed in a second bid in 1995. Began campaigning for President in 1997. PERSONAL Divorced, with four adopted children.
