A User's Guide to P3P WHAT IS P3P? Software that tells a Net user what kind of personal data a Web site collects. HOW DOES IT WORK? First, you tell P3P which personal data you want to release. Then, upon entering a site, you are alerted if the site wants more-- and what it will do with the info if you cough it up. HOW DOES A USER GET P3P?
