ON TECH STOCK VALUATIONS
Valuations are still fairly high, but we've had a significant correction that has created an entry point.

ON HOW TO VALUE TECH STOCKS
It's an art form, not a science. Look at recent earnings and prospective earnings. See if the company has enough cash and a high enough stock valuation to acquire other companies. Ask, what are the odds that it will grow at a faster rate than its peers?

ON FAVORITE SECTORS
I still like networking, fiber optics, and storage. EMC is one of my largest holdings, along with Triquint, JDS Uniphase, and PMC-Sierra. But I could change my mind and sell off any holding in a week. I don't have any pure dot-coms. We've felt more comfortable with companies building tech infrastructure.
