Launched: Online since 1999 What They Do: Started by selling surplus chemicals and has branched out into seeds and fertilizer. Site boasts a ''name your price'' feature, much like priceline.com. DirectAg.com, www.directag.com Location: St. Paul, Minn. Launched: Online since 1999 What They Do: News, weather, commodity pricing, and a catalog of crop products. The Knowledge Center gives tips on everything from sorghum to sunflowers. NetSeeds Inc., www.netseeds.com Location: Urbandale, Iowa Launched: Online since 1998 What They Do: An online seed supermarket offering soybean, corn, alfalfa, sorghum, and assorted grasses. Lure farmers by undercutting dealer prices. Rooster.com, www.rooster.com Location: Bloomington, Minn.
