Bon Appetit Cookbooks are hardly a millennium subject, so good offerings are scarcer than usual. One really fine one is The Tra Vigne Cookbook: Seasons in the California Wine Country (Chronicle, $35), by chef Michael Chiarello of the famous Napa Valley eatery and San Francisco food writer Penelope Wisner. It's got light, California cuisine recipes geared to all four seasons.
