EDUCATION
Studied industrial relations at Iberoamerican University, and marketing and 
business administration at San Diego State University.
Never earned a degree.

CAREER
Joined Televisa at 19, working in a Tijuana affiliate from 1988 to 1991. 
Appointed vice-president for television programming in 1990. Named chief 
operating officer of Grupo Televisa in 1996 and CEO in 1997.

PERSONAL
Skydived and dated starlets in his youth. Now enjoys scuba diving and paddle 
tennis. Soon to be married to art dealer Alejandra de Cima.
