CHAIN-STORE SALES MONTHLY Reports by big retailers on monthly sales compared with sales from a year ago. The most important comparison is for sales in stores open at least a year. RETAIL SURVEYS WEEKLY, USUALLY TUESDAYS Two private surveys track weekly retail activity: LJR Redbook Research and BTM/Schroder.
