His Apple Computer is on the rebound, and Pixar is headed for high times. He landed the critical partnership with mighty Disney that could help him achieve his vision of building his own Digital Age Disney.

JOHN LASSETER
CREATIVE VP
Pixar could be called Lasseter Studios--such is his reputation in Hollywood. Disney tried to hire him away from Pixar three times before agreeing to a long-term contract to get access to his services at Pixar.

SARAH McARTHUR
VP OF PRODUCTION
The executive producer of Disney's animation unit before joining Pixar in 1997, she helped make The Lion King a hit. Now, she will bring big-studio processes to Pixar so it can make one film a year.
