'Sanctions against Cuba: The beginning of the end?' (Washington Outlook, Aug. 3)

As discussed in ''Sanctions against Cuba: The beginning of the end?'' (Washington Outlook, Aug. 3), representatives of 40 companies did visit Cuba, but only 11 were ''major'' companies. Also, the Commerce Dept.'s favorable attitude toward exporting drugs for testing in Cuban labs applies to all drugs approved for use in the U.S., not just experimental drugs.
