AN ANTIDOTE TO SEXUAL HARASSMENT AT HARVARDAs a student at Harvard business school in the mid-1950s, I observed no offensive sexual behavior--because there were no female students or faculty at that time (''Man and woman at Harvard,'' News: Analysis & Commentary, May 11). Now that a quarter of the graduate students at HBS are women, the school should have anticipated possible problems and provided case studies of unacceptable behavior and sexual harassment. What is particularly discouraging about this report of male attitudes toward women is that these men are future business leaders who, presumably, will have power over a broad range of employees. If these immature, insensitive student actions are not stopped, the effect on future behavior in the work place could be great. Perhaps hiring additional female faculty would also improve male student attitudes toward their future co-managers of the opposite sex.
