The Smithsonian Institution, a museum pioneer on the Web, has just launched its first online-only exhibition. The show, called ''Revealing Things,'' deals with the impact of ordinary objects, such as blue jeans, chemistry sets, and early televisions, on people's lives. It's a little hard to figure out exactly what the show is about, but its extensive use of Java is very cool.
