CONNECT AT DOUBLE SPEEDIF YOU HAVE TWO PHONE LINES AND ARE LOOKING FOR A QUICK WAY TO GET FASTER Internet connections, consider the $49 WebRamp PC from Ramp Networks (888 726-7638 or 408 988-5353). The software allows a Windows 95 PC to connect at nearly double speed by combining two modems. Of course, you'll need a second modem and a second account with your Internet service provider (though some ISPs allow multiple simultaneous connections for an additional charge). Diamond Multimedia offers a technology called Shotgun that also uses two modems with a single computer. But unlike WebRamp, it will only work with ISPs specifically set up for it.
