Leaves home to attend undergraduate school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
  APRIL, 1993
NCSA releases Mosaic to the public. In December, Andreessen graduates from the University of Illinois with a BS in computer science.

JANUARY, 1992
Begins a $6-an-hour software programming job at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
  JANUARY, 1994
Arrives in Silicon Valley to work for a Net startup, Enterprise Integration Technologies.

NOVEMBER, 1992
Starts working on a World Wide Web browser, Mosaic, with co-worker Eric Bina.The software program paves the way for opening the Internet to huge numbers of consumers for the first time.
