ARAMARK'S SELECTSERVICE SYSTEMPhiladelphia's Aramark has cooked up a way to deliver more appetizing hospital chow. Its SELECTSERVICE system uses computers to determine which meals are likely to be popular, based on the current patient population. Servers wear headsets to contact the kitchen in case of special orders.
