FEELS LIKE REAL LIFEAs you roll down the runway in Microsoft Flight Simulator 98, you feel the bumps in the pavement. You feel the recoil when you fire a weapon in Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire from LucasArts. Microsoft's SideWinder Force Feedback Pro joystick uses two motors to give you an added sense of reality with games. Although the joystick will work with any game, the force-feedback feature requires special software. Microsoft has signed up all the leading gamemakers to write for the new controllers, and support has been announced for over 40 games.
