Serial Entrepreneurs: Once Is Never Enough
For some entrepreneurs, starting new ventures seems to be addictive. Even in
his 70s, Gene Amdahl hasn't kicked the habit. Other senior repeaters include
Don Green and Seymour Rubenstein. Once, entrepreneurs who founded two startups
were rare. But here are more than 20 Bay Area inveterates with three or more
startups under their belts, and no doubt more to come. Note: This is a longer,
online-only version of the table that appears in the Aug. 18-25 issue of
Business Week.
