THIS NET BIZ MUST BE MAKING MONEY
IF SUPER BOWL ADVERTISING is any gauge, the Internet is coming of age. Tiny Auto-By-Tel will be the first Internet-based business ever to ante up for a spot--an estimated $1.2 million for 30 seconds during Jan. 28's Super Bowl XXXI. The animated spot will tell how the two-year-old company's car buying service is changing the way cars are sold. Auto-By-Tel (www.autobytel.com) matches prospective car buyers to car dealers, who pay for the service. It also offers low-cost financing and insurance.
