COLOR ADDED

What can you do with a video camera that produces only a few frames per second? If it's a Color QuickCam from Connectix (800 950-5880), it could be a fast and simple way to get snapshots--of employees for ID cards, of yourself for a Web page, of the kids for relatives--into your computer. The $230 camera, like the monochrome QuickCam, looks like a baseball with a lens. It plugs easily into the printer port of a personal computer or the Apple Desktop Bus of a Macintosh. If you and grandma subscribe to America Online, you can E-mail her a picture of the grandkids.
