ENDLESS DRIVEIf you're someone who never has enough storage space, then the Jaz drive from Iomega (800 697-7833) is for you. The drive, $499 for an internal version and $599 for an external for either PCs or Macintosh, stores a gigabyte on a removable disk. Disks cost $125 and pop in as easily as floppies. The Jaz requires an SCSI interface, and Iomega offers the Jaz Jet. The fast Adaptec adapter card runs $99 for a PC version and $149 for Power Mac 7500, 8500, and 9500 models. (Jaz can be used with the built-in Mac SCSI port, but Jet is faster.) Heavy demand has created a shortage, so you may have to wait for a Jaz, especially for external units. BY STEPHEN H. WILDSTROM
