A FAMILY CONFABAnyone who thinks family business is a simple affair should stop by the New York Grand Hyatt Hotel on Mar. 17-19 for the Cornell University Conference on the Entrepreneurial Family: Building Bridges. In one of the largest gatherings of its kind, more than 30 academics will present their latest research on the subject. Joining them are family-business-oriented professionals discussing such topics as ``Money and Power Transfers in the Family Business.'' With academics from up to 70 institutes attending, the event suggests family business is coming into its own as a serious research topic. The cost is $250 per person. More information is available on the World Wide Web at http://nmq.com.CornellConference or at 717 871-9343. EDITED BY FRED STRASSER
