PATRICIA Q. STONESIFER

PATRICIA Q. STONESIFER put Microsoft's Consumer Div. on the map in 1995. The 39-year-old manager, known for ``crisp'' thinking, drove the division to launch 20 new CD-ROMs and software products for the home, including Fury3--Microsoft's first shoot-'em-up game--and a souped-up joystick called Side Winder. The division had estimated sales of $800 million, making it the country's No.1 multimedia company.
