STAN SHIH With the booming sales of Acer's Aspire personal computer, a multimedia desktop designed for the home, Acer Chairman and CEO STAN SHIH solidified his position in 1995 as Asia's paramount entrepreneur. By decentralizing ownership (he is spinning off 21 independent companies), Shih remains close to his customers. Revenues for the Taiwan-based group in 1995 are expected to be up 77%, to $5.7 billion.
